THE NEIGHBORHOOD...

Welcome to Pentagon City! This is your guide to the area: restaurants, shopping, local points of interest - whatever we think you might need. However, this isn't an exhaustive list. If you need something we haven't included, the hotel (Residence Inn, 550 Army Navy Dr., Arlington VA, 703-413-6630) can probably help!

There are a number of restaurants and shops within a block or two from the restaurant (and more may be opening by the time of the con). Additionally, there are three mini-neighborhoods within a mile of the hotel which may be of interest to people looking for even more options. Pentagon Row is a section of mostly restaurants on the other side of the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City mall, about four blocks away; this is also the location of the Harris Teeter grocery store. 23rd Street refers to the block of 23rd St South between South Fern Street and South Eads Street, not quite a mile down South Fern Street from the hotel, with a dense concentration of local restaurants and a variety of cuisines. Crystal Drive is about the same distance away along Crystal Drive between 18th St South and 23rd St South, with some of the better chain restaurants around; the Virginia ABC liquor store is at the far end of Crystal Drive.

In addition to the nearby restaurants listed below, there are currently 89 restaurants available for delivery to the hotel (500 Army Navy Dr., Arlington VA, 22202) for lunch or dinner. We suggest using the Seamless delivery service or GrubHub delivery service (they are the same list, but you may already have an account with one or the other). Be aware that some restaurants have high delivery fees while others have low or no fees.

Below is an embedded Google map of the area easily accessible from the hotel. Click on items in the list to see how to get there from the hotel.
